Welcome to the first full week of August. This month will be very busy — and likely intense — but the good news is that it will not carry the sluggish pace that July did.
In July, we were riddled by Mercury retrograde — but as of Aug. 6, life should be back to full speed and moving right along. Because of the orbit of the planets, we often can “feel” them slowing down or speeding up and our lives echo accordingly.
However, I do want to point out that once we get into September, we will enter a very long “vortex of the past” that lasts until the summer of 2027, during which we will face many karmic lessons regarding the past due to back-to-back planetary retrogrades. Because of this, it may be wise to try to get all of our ducks in a row now.
Another important factor to note as we venture into August is that we are in eclipse season. “Eclipse season” is a time of year when we experience many destined and fated events, twists and turns, culminations, beginnings, and endings. Later this month we will have a solar eclipse and then a lunar eclipse, so it would again be wise to pay attention to what already appears to be popping up now.
This week, Venus, our planet of relationships, ventures into Libra from Aug. 6 until Sept. 10. This is a magical period for all unions and we may find that more people announce they are becoming “official” in some way, personally or professionally, at this time.
As for specific cosmic weather this week, the only main energy we will face is on the 6th, as the heavens reveal we could be taking on more responsibility, accepting a triumph, or planning for the long-term. Harness this vibration now.
