West Wilson is breaking his silence on his relationship with Amanda Batula in an episode of his Show Me Something podcast alongside co-host Sophie Cunningham.
“There was no overlap," the Summer House star, 31, told Cunningham in the Monday, April 20, episode of the podcast about the timeline of his relationship with Batula following his breakup with her close friend Ciara Miller. "I know there's a thousand different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen. Everyone was single.”
Wilson went on to explain that he and Batula, 34, "realized things were maybe a little bit serious in February," adding that she has been taking the "brunt" of the backlash over their romance.
Wilson said in the clip from the podcast that Batula's phone number was leaked and that she had been receiving hateful messages.
"The hardest part I think with this whole situation is, you know, my actions have hurt people that I care about," he said.
West explained that he intends to give some apologies "face to face" and "clear up all of the crazy s— that's been on the internet" at the upcoming Summer House reunion.
Miller, 30, recently opened up about her own preparations for the reunion.

"People talk about a revenge dress," she told Glamour in an interview published on April 17. "Even at the reunion two years ago, I really wasn't preparing anything to be a revenge dress. I was genuinely just like, 'Oh, what do I want to wear?'…"

"Now going into this reunion, I have a different mindset," she continued. "But I still don't really think about a revenge look. I just think about what's a proper representation of who I am right now."
Miller also addressed the drama for the first time, telling Glamour, “It's one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors; to experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It's a major mindf—.”
"Just know when something's weird in your gut, there's a reason,” she said of her decision to speak out in the interview instead of another outlet like a podcast. “What's done in the dark always comes to light. And sometimes you really don't even have to do anything except sit back and let the universe handle it all.”
