Most of these cast members returned for the spinoff series, with the exception of Roseanne Barr herself. Barr was asked not to return to the franchise due to a series of controversial social media posts. In addition to Goodman, Metcalf, Fishman, Gilbert, Goranson and Chalke, the following actors joined the main cast of The Conners:
- Emma Kenney as Harris Healy (introduced in season 10 of Roseanne)
- Ames McNamara as Mark Healy (introduced in season 10 of Roseanne)
- Jayden Rey as Mary Conner
