White Lotus star Walton Goggins is living his life one naked cup of coffee at a time.
“I’ve been naked in the back yard of every house I’ve ever owned,” Goggins, 53, told Daily Mail’s You Magazine in an interview published on Friday, April 19.
Goggins, who moved from Los Angeles to New York’s Hudson Valley during the COVID-19 pandemic, shared with the outlet that he sometimes enjoys studying his scripts outside in the nude.
“You wake up in the morning and you have a beautiful cup of coffee with clothes or sans clothes and feel the air on your body,” he said. “I don’t think I’m an exhibitionist. I don’t make that choice to put on clothes or not put on clothes. I just know I’m going to have a cup of coffee.”

The White Lotus fans are not the only ones mourning that shocking double murder — and now one of the stars is speaking out about the season 3 love story gone awry. Goggins starred in the third season of Max’s anthology series The White Lotus, which follows the employees and guests of a fictional resort as they experience the ups and downs of your typical vacation — with a murder mystery or two thrown into the mix that is solved by the end of the season.
“It was hard,” Goggins told You of filming White Lotus. “I was telling a story that was different, but not so dissimilar from my own. It is a pain that I think so many people can relate to. The majority of us have experienced something traumatic that we become obsessed with, and for a period of time our story is defined by it. And you’ll either move past it or you won’t.”
In season 3, Goggins portrayed Rick Hatchett opposite Aimee Lou Wood as his much younger girlfriend, Chelsea. The actor confessed to You that landing the role on the popular drama series was an emotional experience for him.
“I am an emotional person. I cry with my friends. I cry with my wife. I hold my wife. I kiss my wife,” he said. “I also do a job that allows me access to what I’m feeling constantly. And I’ve been blessed to do that for a really long time.”
