The soccer player, who is playing for Mexico in the World Cup, has been with Basso since at least 2017. After welcoming two children, the couple got engaged in February 2025, with Jiménez writing on Instagram, "She said Yes! 💍❤️."
Basso has been supportive of his career over the years. In September 2017, she shared a photo of them in an empty stadium, writing, "Every step you take I will be very proud😍."
More recently, Jiménez shared an Instagram post in honor of Basso's birthday in June 2025, writing that she will always be his "partner in life."

Basso was born in Mexico City on June 23, 1989, per her website.
After participating in singing, dancing and acting programs at a young age, she went on to have a career in the arts.
She studied at Artes Escénicas Casazul, an acting school in Mexico, before continuing her training at Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa, per her site.
Basso has had several TV roles in the years since, including playing Yolanda in the soap opera Simplemente María.
They've been together since about 2017

Although Jiménez and Basso haven't shared how or when they met, the pair have been together since about 2017, as the actress shared a sweet photo with the soccer player that July.
That September, Basso wrote on Instagram that she loves "getting to know [him] more and more everyday."
Since then, the couple have shared several glimpses of their relationship, from travels to Nashville, coordinated Halloween costumes and sweet Valentine's Day posts.
In January 2025, she shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Jiménez, who she wrote she has been sharing her life with "over the last almost 8 years."
"And today I really want to express my admiration and respect for you," she wrote. "Being a public figure is not easy but you have known how to listen, be silent and work, you are transparent and dedicated."

In February 2025, Jiménez announced on Instagram that they got engaged in the Swiss Alps.
"With the Swiss Alps as witnesses, today more than a commitment, we make a promise to have a life together. I love you," he wrote in the post.
They have two kids

In February 2020, Basso announced on Instagram that she and Jiménez were welcoming their first child. "We are pregnant 😍😍😍 Life can not be better," she wrote.
They welcomed baby AJ later that year, and soon became a family of four when their second child was born in 2022.
Basso and their two kids have cheered for Jiménez in the stands on several occasions. In February 2023, she shared a photo carrying her children in her arms while looking out at the soccer field, writing, "Always with you no matter what ❤️🫶 ."
