Zoë Kravitz has been feeling reflective.
In her new cover story for British Vogue, the actress and director opened up about aging and what it means in today's world, while commenting on cosmetic enhancements and her journey to self-healing.
“As women, so much of our value is about the way that we look," the 37-year-old said in the interview published June 11.
"There is this complex relationship between being annoyed at the construction guys who are whistling at you. And I've talked to a lot of women about when that stops and what that feels like," she continued. "There's a version where it feels liberating and a version where you feel invisible. I really want to get to that place where I am happy with who I am without that.”

The Caught Stealing star went on to share that she's looking to "work on elevating or evolving my inner self" because that can only be beneficial in the long run. “If I spend all this time now mad that I don't look the way I want to look, it's like you're wasting it."
She added that whether or not Botox is used as a preventative, aging is bound to happen. "You're going to look different in some way. If you don't do the work internally to prepare yourself for the fact that life is going to happen to you, then that's going to be the hardest part.”
Kravitz's cover for the outlet overseas previously made buzz for what appeared to be a tiny nod to fiancé Harry Styles, despite her shielding the details of their relationship within the interview.

A tease for the cover showed the star with her tattooed back on display, which is how eagle-eyed fans were able to spot what they speculated to be matching tattoos between the fiancés, whose engagement was confirmed by PEOPLE in April 2025.
Kravitz was photographed with a small ink reading "Let it rip," which was also seen on Styles during his shows on his Together, Together tour in Europe.
It would make sense that the two decided to permanently mark their love. In May, a source revealed to PEOPLE how "excited" Kravitz was to attend Styles' concert in Amsterdam. The insider shared, “She's into his music and loves seeing him perform live."
"They're just having a great time together," the source added. "She's happy, but pretty low-key about the engagement. She isn't talking about a wedding at all."
