At least 51 people are dead or missing after a migrant boat capsized while traveling to Europe earlier this month.
The Abreen group, which tracks movements of migrants in eastern Libya, said the boat sank in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of Libya on June 12, according to the Associated Press.
Eleven bodies have been located, while another 40 remain missing. Ten people survived.
The Libyan coast guard and the Red Crescent reportedly said bodies were being retrieved after washing ashore in the city of Tobruk over the past 24 hours.
This is the latest incident in which a migrant boat capsized off the coast of Libya.
On Feb. 9, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported that 53 migrants have been declared dead or missing after a rubber boat carrying 55 individuals capsized north of Zuwara three days prior.
The boat went under on Feb. 5 after taking on water, according to the IOM.
Two Nigerian women reportedly survived, but one lost her husband while the other said she lost her two babies.
At least 375 migrants were reported dead or missing following “invisible” shipwrecks in the Central Mediterranean in January alone, according to data previously collected by the IOM.

Those wrecks went unrecorded amid extreme weather conditions, the organization said.
