Some celebrity couples hit the right notes with their music video meet-cutes.

Fans often hear about actors who date their costars, but musicians have also found love on set.

Brad Paisley cast his now-wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, whom he already had a crush on. Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s chance encounter led to the pair walking down the aisle.

Here are six celebrity couples who met while filming music videos.

Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley

Brad developed a bit of a crush on Kimberly when he first saw her in 1991’s Father of the Bride.

They met in 2001 when the country music star asked the actress to be in his music video for “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” and the rest is history. The pair married in March 2003 and share two sons: William Huckleberry, born in 2007, and Jasper Warren, born in 2009.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney

In 2011, Lady Gaga met Chicago Fire star and Taylor Kinney on the set of her “Yoü and I” music video.

The pair dated for five years, eventually getting engaged on Valentine’s Day 2015 after Kinney proposed with a heart-shaped ring. They called off their engagement the following year.

Gaga is now engaged to tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky, while Kinney wed model Ashley Cruger in April 2024.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen

There’s no pair quite like PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful and PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive! Teigen and Legend met in 2006 on the set of his music video for “Stereo.”

The couple wed in Italy in September 2013 and have since welcomed four children together: daughters Luna Simone and Esti Maxine and sons Miles Theodore and Wren Alexander Stephens.

Teigen has also starred in two more of her husband’s music videos, 2013’s “All of Me” — shot in Italy by Nabil Elderkin, who also directed “Stereo,” days before the pair tied the knot in Lake Como — and 2020’s “Wild.”

Tyga and Blac Chyna

Blac Chyna and Tyga met in 2011, when she starred in his “Rack City” music video.

They welcomed son King Cairo before their breakup in August 2014. She also shares daughter Dream with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, the brother of Kylie Jenner, whom Tyga dated on-and-off for about two years after his split with Chyna.

Chyna ended her engagement to Derrick Milano in 2025, while Tyga has since been linked to Madelaine Petsch.

Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova

Anna Kournikova’s relationship with Enrique Iglesias began when she played his love interest in the music video for 2001’s “Escape.” Not long after, the former tennis pro and Russian model became the Spanish singer-songwriter’s real-life love interest.

In October 2023, Iglesias told PEOPLE that the video changed his life “in ways that I didn’t even think about.”

“When we met — although she came from the sports world — in a way, we kind of got each other. She knew what my world was like. I kind of knew what her world was like. So that understanding helped a lot,” he said. “We just started connecting little by little and got stronger and stronger and stronger.”

The private couple share four kids: twins Lucy and Nicholas, daughter Mary and a newborn they welcomed in December 2025. (Iglesias and Kournikova have not shared the sex or name of the baby.)

Josh Kelley and Katherine Heigl

Grey’s Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl met Josh Kelley when she starred in the singer’s “Only You” music video in 2005.

They got married in December 2007 and are now parents to three children: daughters Nancy Leigh “Naleigh” Mi-Eun and Adalaide Marie Hope, both of whom they welcomed via adoption, and son Joshua Bishop.
