Alix Earle is finally sharing when she’ll address her viral feud with Alex Cooper.
In an interview with TIME, published on July 14, the superstar influencer, 25, said that she has plans to tell her side of the story on her family’s forthcoming reality series, Earle Meets World, which is set to premiere on Netflix later this year.
The content creator told the outlet that, even though producers wanted her to discuss the rift, she initially declined because she “really wasn’t comfortable sharing.”
“Then everything unfolded the way it did while we were filming,” continued Earle. “There was a serious struggle behind the scenes of emotions, and my family showed up for me. Those moments that sometimes seem so fun for people online, but are hard behind the scenes — I am happy that we were able to capture that.”
After rumors swirled for months about beef between Earle and the Call Her Daddy host, 31, the feud came to a head in April when Cooper called out Earle by name in a TikTok, claiming that she was starting “fake drama” to “distract” from other things going on in her life.

“Hey girl, the passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things — I’ve got to call you out here,” said Cooper in the video. “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”
(Days earlier, Earle had reposted a video on TikTok of another content creator calling Cooper “so awful” for telling people’s stories when they are at their lowest.)
Hours after Cooper’s post, Earle gave her initial reaction, writing in the comments of her video, “Okay on it!!” And the following day, she shared footage of her being woken up to Cooper’s video, after which she said, “Wait, that just literally made my whole day.”
Months later, Earle still has not addressed the rift, notably dodging a question on the Today show from host Craig Melvin about whether there was “legitimate contentiousness” between the pair.

“You know, well, I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today,” she told him. “We don’t actually have that much time here, honestly, and also, it’s like, why ruin such a good day with something not so great. Let’s keep the positive vibes going.”

While speaking to TIME, Earle also shared that her family’s reality show — which will follow her and her extended family — will address their family dynamics.
“There’s stuff in my family that we didn’t really talk about for so long, because we were all hurt in our own way,” she told the outlet. “It was important to show how we got to where we are today, and that things aren’t perfect all the time.”
