- Authorities are searching for 3-month-old Maxence Sirois, who is believed to have been abducted in Hayward, Calif.
- Police said the suspect is Maxence’s mother, Marina Kazakova, 42
- Kazakova allegedly failed to return Maxence to his father on June 30
Authorities in California issued an AMBER Alert for a 3-month-old infant, whose mother allegedly abducted him.
The Hayward Police Department said it was seeking the public's help in locating Maxence Sirois, who was last seen on Sunday, June 28. California Highway Patrol is also assisting in the search.
Police alleged that the suspected abductor is Maxence's mother, Marina Kazakova, 42.
"Kazakova failed to return Maxence to his father as required by a court-ordered custody agreement on June 30, 2026, and is believed to have fled to an unknown location," the police department alleged.

Kazakova is thought to be driving a white 2016 Mazda CX-5 SUV, with the California license plate 7SJW989, which was last seen in the area of Kern County.
Maxence has a bald head, blue eyes and weighs about 16 pounds. Kazakova is about 5-foot-6, weighs about 128 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who sees either Maxence or Kazakova is advised to call 911.
