Cher has allegedly cut off financial support for her son Elijah Blue Allman.
In court documents filed on Tuesday, May 5 in the Superior Court of Los Angeles and obtained by PEOPLE, Elijah asked for a reduction in his spousal support payments to his estranged wife Marieangela King.
According to the filing, the son of Cher, 79, and the late Allman Brothers Band musician Gregg Allman, claimed his mother was the reason for the request as he no longer receives "recurring gift income" from his mother but "receives only $10,000 per month from his father's trust."

Elijah, 49, claimed the pop icon stopped sending the $10,000 per month in August 2021.
Per the filing, Elijah's alleged income without those funds comes to $6,790 after taxes.
Currently, according to the filing, he is required to pay $6,500 per month to King, 38, whom he married in 2013, but his attorneys have requested that the amount be decreased to $1,651 per month.
Allman claimed in the filing that King has "made no efforts to become self-supporting" since he and King separated in 2021.
The next hearing is scheduled for July 17.
PEOPLE has reached out to attorneys for Cher and Elijah for comment.
Elijah initially filed for divorce from King in 2021, but filed to dismiss it "without prejudice" in January 2024. A judge granted it the following month.
However, King filed for divorce from Elijah in April 2025.
Last month, Cher filed for conservatorship of her son again, citing severe mental health and addiction issues following his arrests earlier this year.
In December 2023, the "Believe" hitmaker filed for a temporary conservatorship over her son's estate and requested herself as the sole conservator. However, this time she asked that fiduciary Jason Rubin fill the role.
Cher's latest conservatorship request, however, was denied on April 24 without prejudice, meaning she can file again if she wants.
At the time, Elijah appeared on camera remotely from a psychiatric hospital, where he is currently in custody "in an attempt to restore him to competency" amid criminal charges for two different cases in New Hampshire.
In the filing, Cher's attorney Justin Gold claimed that Elijah's life "has significantly deteriorated" since the last conservatorship petition was filed.
Allegedly, Elijah has "no concept of money" and is "unable to manage his financial resources" due to his allegedly "severe" mental health and addiction issues. Cher also claimed that her son "spends any money he gets immediately," and it's nearly always on "drugs, expensive hotels and limousine transportation."
The "Strong Enough" performer claimed in her initial filing that Elijah's son owed $18,000 to "a drug dealer who tracked him down," which led him to borrow money from a friend "to avoid being harmed."
Cher also alleged that Elijah hasn't paid "any income taxes," owes $200,000, and did not appear in court after King ordered him to pay spousal support.
