Chloë Sevigny had a very special helper at the premiere of her new Peacock series.
On Wednesday, July 9, the actress, 51, brought her 6-year-old son, Vanja, to the Los Angeles premiere of The Five Star Weekend, where the little boy helped his mom walk the red carpet by proudly holding onto the train of her dress.
Sevigny, who shares her son with Siniša Mačković, smiled and laughed for photos on the carpet while Vanja stood behind her, occasionally looking at the camera for a snap or two.
While his mom dressed up for the special event, Vanja kept things casual in an all-black ensemble, including a Gap zip-up hoodie, a black T-shirt, dark pants and sneakers. He accessorized his look with a simple gold chain necklace.

Sharing a photo from the event on her Instagram page, Sevigny revealed that this was also her son’s first premiere.
“Baby’s first premiere #the5starweekend ! ⭐️,” she wrote alongside a picture of Vanja smiling and holding the train of his mom’s dress as they arrived at the premiere.
Shortly after welcoming her son, the Oscar-nominated actress first revealed his name and shared the first photo of him in an Instagram post in May 2020. Alongside a picture of her cuddling with Mačković and the newest addition to the family, Sevigny wrote, “Welcome to the world Vanja Sevigny Mačković.”
“Born May 2nd,” she captioned the sweet shot. “New York City.”
Sevigny also took time to thank the hospital workers who looked after her for their “bravery, perseverance and kindness, especially the nurses for being so gentle and patient.”
“Blessings to all the other families giving birth during this time,” she added. “#ilovemyboys 🐣.”

Though Sevigny previously remained mum about the sex of her child throughout her pregnancy, she said in an interview with The Cut, “When I found out I was having a boy, I had to wrap my head around that, as I am so girly.”
“I don’t even have that many boy friends; all of my friends are girls. I just relate better to girls. I’m like, what the hell am I going to do with a boy?” she told the outlet.

“My mom was like, ‘This is your comeuppance for not really liking men.’ I was like, great. I like men when I’m sleeping with them! But of course, I am thrilled and so excited about the whole thing.”
News of Sevigny’s pregnancy first broke in January 2020 when her rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress was expecting her first child with Mačković. The couple was spotted on a stroll in New York City, smiling with one another as Mačković embraced her baby bump before they shared a kiss.
