Are you “keeping the peace” or just avoiding an important decision?
Today, the moon will journey through Libra until 9:35 a.m. ET, putting relationships and social dynamics at the forefront.
However, at exactly 7:07 a.m., the moon will reach its first quarter phase, which is when the Libra moon faces off with the sun in Cancer, creating friction between what we consider safe and comfortable versus what seems fair and reasonable to everyone else.
A plan, project or relationship could reach a point where compromise will no longer suffice. Pay attention to the tension rising, as it is highlighting where adjustment and action are required.
The phases of the moon speak volumes in terms of their effects, and first quarter moons are built for movement — they expose the obstacles in between our intentions and the next stage of development.
For instance, with the sun in Cancer and the moon in Libra, the conflict could potentially center around our personal needs and interpersonal expectations. You could feel tempted to smooth things over or perhaps even make yourself more accommodating than necessary.
Resist the urge to negotiate simply to keep everyone around you happy.
Keep in mind that after its first-quarter phase at 7:07 a.m. ET, the moon will go into the void until it enters Scorpio at 9:35 a.m. ET.
Once the moon enters this Water sign, the atmosphere becomes heavy with mood — focused, strategic and emotionally perceptive — making surface-level interactions less appealing.
After all, whenever this smoldering sign is in the mix, we are collectively more interested in motives, consequences and what is lingering beneath the surface, so be sure to harness this energy for the change that is needed.
In the meantime, Jupiter in Leo will meet with Uranus in Gemini in a harmonious sextile, bringing a larger current of optimism, experimentation and forward momentum to the day’s astro-weather.
This synergy rewards curiosity and experimentation.
In the meantime, here’s your daily horoscope for today, according to your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 20-April 19)

Stop volunteering to have the hard conversations just because everyone else is being vague, Aries. A conversation around family, work or a shared responsibility needs to be clarified. Communicate your needs without turning it into drama. Later in the day, a new contact (or idea) could open a door you didn’t know was available.
Taurus (April 19-May 20)

Make sure your schedule is on your terms, Taurus. Someone could expect you to be flexible with your time without offering much in return. Honor your commitments and prioritize what matters. A financial or creative breakthrough could make it worth your while.
Gemini (May 20-June 20)

The group chat is always fun, but you don’t owe anyone anything, Gemini. A romantic, social or creative venture needs to be authentic to you, not just make the people around you happy. Focus on what’s exciting — someone unexpected might recognize your talent before you see it for yourself.
Cancer (June 21-July 21)

Keeping everyone comfortable is becoming a full-time job with no benefits, Cancer. Tension at home or with family can reveal where you’ve been over-accommodating. Set one fair but firm boundary. A professional idea, social platform or connection could give you a well-deserved confidence boost.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

Not every disagreement requires a PowerPoint presentation, Leo. You could feel strongly about being understood, but your delivery matters just as much as your perspective. Ask questions before you assume the worst-case scenario. An unexpected invitation or learning opportunity could set new plans in motion.
Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

Stop investing your energy (or offering your services) into situations where it’s taken for granted, Virgo. Your money, effort or emotional labor could become a point of friction today. Double-check the agreement and charge accordingly, literally or figuratively. Later, a strategic collaboration could help you turn a niche skill into something profitable.
Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

You don’t owe anyone anything, Libra. Still, a personal goal could create conflict with someone else’s expectations… and it takes two to compromise. Make a respectable decision, and stand firm in your truth. New allies appear when you least expect it.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)

You need some alone time, Scorpio. The morning could feel emotionally overwhelming, especially if you’ve been absorbing everyone else’s moods. Take a step back before responding to your text messages. Later in the day, however, a heart-to-heart conversation could bring some much-needed perspective.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)

Your social calendar isn’t a moral obligation, Sagittarius. A friend, colleague or community could be asking more of you than you realistically want to give. Be honest. Later in the day, a surprising partnership or online connection could result in something genuinely productive.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)

Your professionalism doesn’t depend on your ability to smile through the nonsense, Capricorn. A work decision could expose tension between your professional responsibilities and private needs. Handle it with tact, but don’t minimize the issue. A new system or help from a colleague could make your job significantly easier later in the day.
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

You’re allowed to change your mind and evolve, Aquarius. New information could challenge a belief, plan or long-term goal today. Stay curious instead of getting defensive. A creative risk or spontaneous date night encourages you to have more fun.
Pisces (Feb. 18-March 20)

Shared expenses (or feelings) may require receipts, Pisces. A financial, romantic or emotional agreement could need clarification today. Ask the difficult questions and resist filling in the blanks on your own. A smarter approach to home, work and your day-to-day life could save you time and money.
