Pay attention, because the confusion is about to become crystal clear!
On July 23, Mercury the messenger will station direct in Cancer, bringing the tricky retrograde to a close.
This means everything from communication and planning to our decision-making will gradually improve from here on out.
This is especially true when it comes to emotional conversations, family matters, living situations and our innermost feelings.
Mercury direct doesn’t automatically answer all of our questions, but it does serve as a turning point to stagnant situations.
Information may begin to surface, while delayed projects regain momentum, but today is better suited for gathering insight rather than rushing to make a decision.
So while the answers we seek may be on the way, this doesn’t mean we have all the details just yet.
In other news, this morning’s square between the sun and Chiron adds another layer of sensitivity to the astro-weather.
For instance, where the sun in Leo prefers to act with confidence and pride, the influence of Chiron in Taurus exposes the more tender areas of our lives, particularly our self-worth, sense of stability and the fear of what we have (or who we are) somehow not being enough.
This friction can make criticism sting a little more than usual, or perhaps even prompt us to question decisions we were confident about once upon a time.
Also, reflect on where insecurity could be influencing your choices, especially if you’re suddenly tempted to seek approval, overcompensate or follow someone else’s lead to avoid feelings of discomfort.
On a brighter note, the emotional tone becomes more constructive as the day unfolds.
Supportive relationship energy makes it easier to approach intimacy and commitment from a place of mutual strength rather than control.
As for the moon, it remains void for most of the day, reinforcing the need to pause before launching something major or forcing an outcome.
However, once the moon enters Sagittarius at 9:08 p.m. ET, the atmosphere starts to feel more open, optimistic and adventurous.
Perspective returns, ultimately replacing the emotional tunnel vision brought on by the Scorpio moon.
In the meantime, here’s your daily horoscope for today, according to your zodiac sign.
Aries (March 20-April 19)

Make the choices that protect your peace, Aries. The need to prove a point isn’t a priority right now. A family concern, decision at home or emotionally loaded conversation finally starts to make sense, but don’t confuse this with resolution. Finances (or self-worth) could be the real nerve underneath your reaction.
Taurus (April 19-May 20)

Be as direct as possible, Taurus. An important conversation may resurface or someone might finally explain themselves. Whatever the case may be, save yourself the headache of the unnecessary detective work. Resist the urge to overanalyze the situation.
Gemini (May 20-June 20)

Your inner critic is loud today, but this doesn’t make it accurate, Gemini. The good news? A delayed payment, financial decision or pricing issue may finally shift in your favor. Still, it’s probably best not to spend money you haven’t received, or build a budget around a promise.
Cancer (June 21-July 21)

Your voice is coming back online, Cancer — finally. A personal decision, important conversation or plan for the future can finally move forward, but you may still feel emotionally scrambled. Take a second for yourself before leaning on others for clarity.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)

A personal revelation could hit harder than expected, especially if you’ve been pretending something no longer bothers you, Leo. Meanwhile, issues with your career or a lack of self-confidence could tempt you to play small. Don’t dim your vision or your light because something (or someone) made you question your value.
Virgo (Aug. 22-Sept. 22)

Your future deserves so much more, Virgo. Don’t let someone’s vague enthusiasm or lack of follow-through influence your goals and dreams. A friendship, collaboration or long-term plan finally picks up momentum, but someone may need to prove they are as committed as they claim. Don’t carry it all on your own and call it teamwork.
Libra (Sept. 22-Oct. 22)

A professional decision, stalled opportunity or conversation with someone in authority may finally move forward, Libra. The catch? Money, trust issues or binding agreements could make you second-guess your commitments. Ask questions and clear the air before you villainize the situation.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)

Trust your instincts, Scorpio. Travel plans, publishing goals or a major life decision could start to regain momentum. Still, a committed relationship could also expose exactly where you feel undervalued. Don’t accept half-hearted compromises — stand firm in your self-worth.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22–Dec. 21)

Be clear with your commitments, Sagittarius. A debt, shared bill, financial agreement or emotionally complicated situation could begin to loosen its grip. Read the fine print and ask the uncomfortable questions before signing anything. By this evening, you feel more like yourself, once the moon enters your sign.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)

A relationship conversation that has gone in circles could finally start to feel productive, Capricorn. Still, a romantic choice, creative venture or personal desire could make you feel unusually exposed, or perhaps even vulnerable. Nothing is ever guaranteed, but you can still admit what you want and need.
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)

Handle your business, and stop volunteering to manage everyone else’s emotions and expectations, Aquarius. A work issue, scheduling nuisance or health-related routine could finally become easier to manage. Still, tension at home or with family could still make you feel like the one responsible.
Pisces (Feb. 18-March 20

Don’t scrap the whole thing just because someone failed to see your vision, Pisces. A romantic situation, creative venture or passion project you nearly gave up on could suddenly show signs of serious potential. You could still be obsessing over whether you did too much, not enough or the wrong thing entirely.
