The Gentlemen still has more business to settle.
The Netflix drama follows Eddie Horniman (Theo James), an aristocrat who unexpectedly inherits his family’s estate — and the sprawling marijuana operation hidden beneath it. Hoping to free his family from the criminal enterprise, Eddie becomes entangled with crime boss Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) and discovers he may have a knack for navigating the dangerous underworld.
The Gentlemen was renewed for a third installment in August 2026, just over a week before season 2 premiered.
“The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded, and the consequences carry weight,” creator, writer, director and executive producer Guy Ritchie told Variety. “A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”
Now, fans are eager to see what’s next for Eddie as he grapples with his wife’s death and his brother’s betrayal.

Season 2 ends with Eddie seeking revenge after his new wife, Bella (Benedetta Porcaroli), is killed in a plane explosion. He initially blames Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone) and orders a prison hit, but realizes his mistake and saves Bobby.
Eddie ultimately discovers that Gospel John (Pearce Quigley) orchestrated the attack with help from his resentful brother, Freddy (Daniel Ings). Rather than kill Freddy, Eddie forces him to decapitate Gospel John with a chainsaw — cementing Eddie’s transformation into a ruthless crime boss. Meanwhile, Susie begins building an operation independent of Eddie and Bobby.
Netflix hasn’t revealed an official synopsis for season 3, but the season 2 finale sets up a struggle for control of the expanding drug empire. The new season will also likely explore Eddie’s increasingly ruthless behavior and the fallout from Freddy’s betrayal.
“[Bella] awakened this possibility of a good life outside of death and destruction,” James told Tudum in September 2026. “So, when she’s quickly wiped off the face of the planet, [Eddie’s] whole sense of self and life is completely deconstructed.”
Who will be in the cast of The Gentlemen season 3?
The official season 3 cast has not been announced; however, James and Scodelario are expected to return as Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass, respectively.
Based on the season 2 finale, the following cast members could also return: Ings as Freddy Horniman; Winstone as Bobby Glass; Vinnie Jones as Geoff Seacombe; Joely Richardson as Lady Sabrina; Giancarlo Esposito as Uncle Stan; and Sergio Castellitto as Marco Moretti.
Meghan Markle was in talks to appear in season 3 of the show. When asked about the Duchess of Sussex’s potential involvement in August 2026, Netflix’s U.K. scripted chief Manda Levin said, “All bets are off.”
James, however, told Town & Country that he believes the speculation is “mainly a lot of hot air.”
