A Florida woman is accused of throwing poop on her neighbor after suspecting infidelity.
On Monday, Sept. 7, Yirsi Machado Rivera allegedly threw a bucket of poop on her neighbor, whom she believed was sleeping with her husband, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said in an arrest affidavit obtained by WFLA.
Machado Rivera, 50, and the victim live in a split trailer in the Royal Country Mobile Homes in Miami.
Per the affidavit, Machado Rivera went to the victim’s side of the trailer and accused her of having a sexual relationship with her husband. She then allegedly entered the victim’s residence without permission and shoved her. Before leaving, she allegedly threw a bucket “containing human feces” onto the victim.
“The defendant stated to the witness that she pooped in a bucket to throw in the victim’s face,” per the affidavit.

Machado Rivera told detectives that she was trying to get rid of the bucket of poop that she had been using because she had a broken toilet, per the affidavit.
The woman also claimed that she and the victim were arguing over the smell of the feces.
The suspect alleged that the victim hit her on the head with a bat. She has denied entering the victim’s residence and throwing the bucket of poop.
Officers arrested Machado Rivera following an investigation.

Machado Rivera was booked on burglary and battery charges on Tuesday, Sept. 8, according to Miami-Dade jail records reviewed by PEOPLE.
The suspect appeared before Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer on Tuesday for a bond hearing.

“So this is an interesting case. She thinks the neighbor is having relations with her husband, so she pushes her way into the victim’s house and then throws poop on the victim, a bucket of poop,” the judge said, per NBC Miami.
Glazer ordered Machado Rivera to be held without bond and to stay away from the alleged victim.
Machado Rivera is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, per online jail records.
PEOPLE reached out to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Miami-Dade County Courts on Sunday, Sept. 13, but did not receive an immediate response.
