Bridget Reagan’s children “were the center of her world,” a loved one said

A mom of three was killed after a tree crushed her SUV while she was driving on an Ohio highway.
“She was a driving force here in town, just made Minerva a better place,” Nate Meadows, the executive director of the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce, told ABC affiliate WEWS of Bridget Reagan. The 35-year-old woman owned Chic Haven, a clothing and home décor boutique in Minerva, before the fatal incident on Aug. 15, according to the outlet.
“She was always positive,” continued Meadows. “Even if things were not going great, she was always looking at what was the next best thing.”
This past Saturday, at 5:24 p.m. local time, Reagan was traveling west on U.S. Route 30 in Paris Township when the large tree fell from a wooded area and crashed onto her Jeep Wagoneer, WEWS, CBS affiliate WOIO and Fox affiliate WJW reported. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Currently, officials are still investigating what could have caused the tree to fall.
“We’re trying to determine whether or not the ground was saturated, if the tree was rotted or things like that — everything points to being an act of God,” Lt. Johnnie Maier of the Ohio State Highway Patrol told WEWS.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol did not immediately respond, and the Stark County Coroner’s Office said the case was still under investigation when contacted by PEOPLE.
Following Reagan’s death, the local community and her young family are navigating a void that had been filled with her love and dedication.

“There are no words that could ever truly express the heartbreak and emptiness we are feeling,” wrote Reagan’s sister, Bridget, when announcing her death on the Chic Haven social media page. “Bridget poured so much love, time, passion, and pieces of herself into this business, but even more importantly, she touched the lives of so many people along the way.”
Kelly added, “We will do our best to honor her memory and the legacy she created.”

Another loved one, Kelsi Yun, has organized a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs and support Reagan’s surviving family.
“Bridget was a loving mother to three young children, and they were the center of her world,” wrote Yun.
“She was also a deeply loved daughter, sister, and friend,” she continued, “and her loss has left an enormous space in the lives of so many people who cared about her.”
