Did Layla Taylor just reveal the identity of her new partner?
On July 21, the Colorado-based content creator and barber Kelsie Chesser shared a TikTok with the overlaid text, “When I slid into my girlfriends DM’s just hoping she was into girls.” Fans were quick to realize that the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star — who recently soft-launched her girlfriend on social media — left a sweet note in the comments.
“Folded,” wrote Taylor, 25.
Chesser also sports the same flower and snake tattoos on her hand as the mystery woman who appeared in Taylor’s soft launch earlier this month.
News of the reality TV star’s new flame comes less than a month after she came out as bisexual. Taylor revealed during a June 29 appearance on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose that she had known about her attraction to women since she was “little” but had, for a while, struggled to publicly share the news.
“It’s just something that I honestly didn’t really know how to formally address for a long period of my life,” she said on the podcast. “We’re only on this earth for however long we are here and I’ll be damned if I’m not able to be fully who I am.”
Taylor was previously married to Clayton Wessel, with whom she shares sons Oliver and Maxwell, from 2020 to 2025. Following the end of her marriage, she was romantically linked to Cameron Jolly, who appeared on the second season of Mormon Wives, and Mason McWhorter, the brother of her costar Miranda Hope’s ex-husband Chase McWhorter.

Per her social media presence, Chesser is the owner of Main Barber, a barbershop in Golden, Colo. She has a following of over 40,000 on TikTok, where she shares lifestyle content, and over 2,000 on her barber Instagram account. (Taylor also left a comment on her latest Instagram post, dated June 2, writing “Yay!!!” Chesser wrote back, “🫶🏼🩷”)
