Natalie Joy Viall is opening up about her postpartum recovery.
The Age of Attraction co-host, 27, shared a picture on her Instagram Stories of her twin daughters, Iris Parker and Dove Tomlin, whom she welcomed with husband Nick Viall, on Tuesday, June 30, giving an update on how she’s been doing since their birth. The new mom admitted that recovery this time around has been “incredibly hard” on her, adding that it feels like her body went into “shock.”
“Recovery this time around has been incredibly hard on me, my body has basically gone into shock lol and i feel like I was hit by a bus!!!” she wrote, before noting a bright spot in the journey. “But my girls are 1 week old (as of yesterday at 11:30pm) 💗💗.”

Later on her Instagram Stories, she shared a one-week postpartum transformation picture, showing two mirror selfies with her belly before and after giving birth. In the text below the images, Natalie reflected on how “truly mind blowing” the female body is.
“The fact that these are basically 1 week apart is truly mind blowing,” she wrote. “I spent so much energy on if i would ever feel like myself again after a twin pregnancy and while I am FAR from feeling like myself it is so wild to watch the female body just do what it does”
The newborns joined older sister River Rose, 2, whom Nick, 45, and Natalie told PEOPLE is “excited” about becoming a big sister.
“She shockingly seems to understand what’s going on,” the couple said of River after the birth of their twins. As for the parents themselves, they admitted it “definitely hasn’t sunk in yet,” but they feel “incredibly blessed.”
Ahead of the arrival of Iris and Dove, they made an effort to enjoy every moment in anticipation.
“We just tried to be in the moment with River,” they recalled. “Natalie started their baby books, and we made some updates to the nursery, but we mostly focused on enjoying the moments in the present.”

Nick and Natalie first announced they were expecting twins in an Instagram post shared on Feb. 4, a couple of days after River turned 2. Their big family update came after a difficult year for the parents, who publicly shared that Natalie experienced three pregnancy losses in 2025.
“It’s been an emotional journey starting with multiple miscarriages, but we are so grateful to have our rainbow babies,” Nick and Natalie told PEOPLE.
Weeks after they revealed that they were having twins, the duo shared the sex of their babies with a sweet Instagram video. The clip saw Natalie and River looking on excitedly as Nick popped two black balloons, each filled with little pink balloons and confetti.
“A dream!!!!!” they wrote in the caption of their joint social media post announcing that two girls were on the way.
