Spider-Noir took home five wins at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards over the weekend after its cancellation.

During the ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 6, the Nicolas Cage-led superhero series won the awards for Outstanding Title Design, Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour), Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (One Hour), Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Single Episode, and Outstanding Stunt Coordination for Comedy Programming. It was nominated in 11 categories total.

The victories come just two days after it was revealed Prime Video opted not to proceed further with Spider-Noir, which debuted with its first season in May, per Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter.

Following the news of the show wrapping after one season, Cage shared the following statement with Deadline: “For me, one season is perfect, having said what I wanted to say with this dangerous, innovative, pop-art Spider-Man. Onwards, upwards, inwards.”

Spider-Noir, based on Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir comic series, follows Cage’s Ben Reilly in 1930s New York City as he faces off against bad guys and comes to terms with his past. The show is available to stream in both “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color” and also stars Brendan Gleeson, Karen Rodriguez, Lamorne Morris, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li and Jack Huston.

Cage previously voiced the character of Spider-Man Noir in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

After the show’s stunt coordination win over the weekend, supervising stunt coordinator Freddy Bouciegues and stunt coordinator Hugh Aodh O’Brien told reporters they “got to do everything” they wanted on the series, per Gold Derby. “I wish,” they told the outlet of the win encouraging Prime Video to bring the show back for more. “Tell us who to call! That’s not our department.”

Cage spoke with PEOPLE at the New York City premiere in May, when he explained what it was like to fly around on wires for the series. “I don’t have any crazy stories,” he said of his latest stunt work. “I did a lot of wirework, which is understandable since this character is flying around quite a bit on webs. I always get a kick out of that.”

He added, “It brings my adrenaline up. You never know if it’s gonna snap, but I had a great team.”

Still, he said the crew “knew what they were doing,” so snapped wires weren’t an option. “Everybody was on point so I was safe,” Cage said. “But for me, that’s just the fun part of doing this. Primarily, I was focused on trying to craft this performance style that would fit in the black-and-white format.”

The 78th Emmy Awards (Creative Arts) were held on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be edited into a single broadcast that airs Saturday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX and streams on Hulu the next day. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on NBC and Peacock Monday, Sept. 14, with host Mariska Hargitay.
