Halle Berry is an award-winning actress and proud mother of two, who enjoys spending time with her kids away from the spotlight.

The Monster's Ball star welcomed her first child, daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, with ex Gabriel Aubry on March 16, 2008. They split two years later. On Oct. 5, 2013, she welcomed a son, Maceo-Robert Martinez, with her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, whom she was married to from 2013 to 2016.

Over the years, Berry has spoken about maintaining her children's privacy. “I really don’t like to show my kids very much," she told Extra in July 2018, adding that she wanted to "protect" them.

The Catwoman lead echoed a similar sentiment during a May 2019 interview on the Today show.

"They're gonna do that soon enough," she said about them eventually posting on social media. "That's gonna be their life when they grow up, and they will choose when that starts."

Berry uses Maceo-Robert as a weight for her workout

Berry showed off a fun new way to work out while her son was learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic in September 2020 — one which involved using him as a weight.

"With all the chaos that comes with virtual online learning, it can be difficult for little kids to stay energized and engaged," she captioned an Instagram video showing her doing squats while holding her then 7-year-old son.

She added, "So today, I thought I would throw my son Maceo into my workout! Fun for him and necessary for me !"

When Maceo-Robert turned 8, Berry shared a snap of her "little dude" on Instagram, wearing what appeared to be a scarecrow costume with a dark green hat shielding his eyes.

"Happy Birthday THUNDER! ❤️," she wrote in October 2021.

According to a March 2022 Instagram post, the mother-daughter duo took a dreamy walk along the beach to celebrate Nahla's 14th birthday.

For Berry's birthday, she went to see the Barbie movie with her daughter and her fiancé, Van Hunt.
