The 1975 frontman, 37, and the model-musician, 28, wed in an outdoor ceremony at Castillo del Lago, Madonna’s former estate in Los Angeles, which is near the Hollywood sign, on Saturday, July 18.
A video shared on TikTok shows the newlyweds kissing at the altar and posing for photographs at the Spanish Colonial Revival Mansion in the Hollywood Hills.
Healy is seen in a classic black tuxedo, while Bechtel dons a glamorous white gown with a traditional veil. She completed her look by styling her hair half-up, half-down and appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.

The wedding comes after the couple celebrated their bachelor and bachelorette parties. According to Rolling Stone UK, Healy celebrated his in Malibu, Calif., and sang “The Sound” onstage alongside 9075, a The 1975 cover band.
A fan page also posted a picture of The 1975 alongside members of The 9075 wearing outfits from Healy’s “different eras” for the occasion. Healy was pictured wearing a ginger wig, which appeared to be a reference to his look in the “Give Yourself a Try” music video.

Healy’s mother, Denise Welch, revealed in May on the Tom’s Hirschsprung’s Podcast that the wedding was set for July and said she was “very excited” for the couple to tie the knot, echoing her previous comments of being “thrilled” to welcome Bechtel into the family.
She gushed on the British talk show Loose Women in 2024, “I couldn’t be more thrilled. We couldn’t be happier — she is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law.”

In February 2026, for a Jimmy Choo bridal campaign, the I Know What You Did Last Summer actress, who goes professionally by just Gabbriette, shared a few of her wedding rules for fellow brides. She advised, “This is a celebration, not a performance,” and, “Remember, this is about love — and looking hot — but mainly about love.”
She previously told PEOPLE in July 2025 that wedding planning would “take a while because I’m bad at planning stuff,” but she hinted in the bridal campaign that she was taking the lead in the process. “Let your fiancé think that they’re helping. They pick the music, you pick everything else. Democracy!” she said with a laugh.
Bechtel and Healy first sparked romance rumors in September 2023 when they were spotted kissing in New York City. Less than a year later, the two confirmed they were engaged.
The couple announced their engagement on June 11, 2024, after attending mutual friend Charli XCX‘s Brat show in Brooklyn, N.Y. At the time, Bechtel shared photos on her Instagram Stories of herself wearing her engagement ring from The 1975 singer, which features a black diamond with pavé diamonds around both the center stone and the band. She was first spotted wearing the edgy bling in late May.
“MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT,” Bechtel captioned one image, tagging Healy’s Instagram account. The comment was a nod to Charli’s November 2023 engagement to her now-husband, The 1975 drummer George Daniel.

Charli XCX and Daniel were crucial to the newlyweds meeting. In 2019, the “Boom Clap” singer put together the band Nasty Cherry — and hand-picked Bechtel to join the group. The Netflix docuseries I’m with the Band: Nasty Cherry chronicled the making of the band, which petered out over the pandemic.
Friends of Bechtel and Healy had been trying to introduce the pair for four years before they finally connected. Bechtel told Homme Girls, “He came to L.A. and we’ve been in love ever since.”
In June 2024, an insider told PEOPLE that the couple “quickly fell in love” and have “had a serious and intense relationship from day one.” The insider added, “They’re such a cool couple. They like to do things their way.”
