I’ll be upfront: My getting-ready process takes about two hours in total. As such, I’m not taking any chances with intense humidity and surprise thunderstorms.

My secret to long-lasting makeup? L’Oréal’s Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray Mist. One coat of this super-fine mist ensures my look will stay in place — even through an ultra-balmy three-hour New York Knicks watch party.

And you don’t have to take just my word for it. Celebrities like Eva Longoria and Zoë Kravitz have worn the product during recent red carpet appearances. Keep scrolling to learn more about this $15 setting spray as well as four more L’Oréal products that help you achieve your dream summer glow.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been loyal to the One/Size On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray. That was until I discovered L’Oréal’s alternative — it’s just as powerful and less than half the price. I appreciate its ultra-fine mist, which sprays in a wide radius that quickly covers my whole face. I’m also a fan of its hairspray-like consistency: It dries down within seconds after application.

Order of Operations

After applying all of my liquid and cream products, I spritz my face with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray because I love that it creates a radiant glow. I then dab the Fenty Beauty Mini Invisimatte Instant Setting and Blotting Powder over my T-zone (as that’s where I get the most oily). My final step is the Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray Mist, which locks in my makeup for hours on end.

Summer is an opportunity to let your natural skin shine. One way to upgrade your glow without heavy layers of makeup is with a tinted lotion that I’ve seen on celebrities of various ages, including Martha Stewart, 84, and Kendall Jenner, 30. The luminous product adds a dewy finish to your skin while also moisturizing, thanks to a combination of shea butter and glycerin. Pro tip: Mix with your favorite sunscreen for an ultra-sheer look.

I’m on a continual hunt for a mascara that will both lengthen and volumize my short, straight lashes. This one, which has been purchased more than 10,000 times in the past month alone, is currently in my cart after seeing it work wonders for Gillian Anderson and Andie MacDowell at the Cannes Film Festival. Amazon buyers appreciate its smudge-free formula, ability to hold a curl, and lash-separating wand.

There are more celeb-worn L’Oréal products to explore below, including a hydrating foundation and coral-pink blush.
