Earlier this month, on the set of Dexter: Resurrection, the star, 56, traded out a pair of what appeared to be Onitsuka Tiger sneakers — which Thurman famously wore in Kill Bill — for some sleek and sophisticated loafers. Days later, she was spotted in the same preppy shoe style while filming once again.
The sighting comes after a sprinkling of other celebrities sporting loafers into summer, including Andie MacDowell, Meghan Markle, and Katie Holmes, which signals something bigger: What were once fall and winter staples are popping up in warmer months now, too.
