Rodrigo De Paul and his fiancée, Tini Stoessel, are quite the power couple.
The Argentine professional soccer player has been dating Stoessel, whose birth name is Martina Stoessel, on and off since 2022. De Paul made their relationship public in August of that year when he posted a selfie of them on Instagram.
While De Paul has made a name for himself as one of the best soccer players in the world, his fiancée has also risen to prominence as a successful pop star and actress. Stoessel got her start as a Disney Channel Latin America singer and actress before transitioning to be a singer-songwriter.
Although the couple briefly split in 2023, they rekindled in 2025 and in May 2026, De Paul confirmed that they were engaged by posting a photo of Stoessel’s engagement ring.
For Stoessel’s birthday in March 2026, De Paul posted several photos and praised her “courage in overcoming fears” and thanked her for bringing “joy to my life,” as originally posted in Spanish.

She’s a massive pop star

Stoessel, who goes by the stage name Tini, launched her career when she was a teenager playing the lead role in the hit Disney Channel Latin America series Violetta from 2012 to 2015.
In 2016, she released her debut album, Tini, which reached the No. 1 spot in Argentina and several top 10 charts across Europe. Two years later, she launched her second pop and reggae album, Quiero Volver, which also charted across Europe.
Stoessel slightly pivoted to more reggae and Latin trap music with the launch of her 2020 album Tini Tini Tini and broke the record for most albums sold by a woman in Argentina. Her career only continued to skyrocket when she released the hit 2023 album Cupido, which featured the hit singles “Miénteme,” “Bar” and “La Triple T.”
The album became the first Argentine album in the 2020s to reach the top 10 on the Billboard US and top 50 on the US Top Latin Albums charts.
The award-winning singer’s latest album was the alternative pop release Un Mechón de Pelo, which debuted in 2024 and included the hit single “Pa.”
Over the years, Stoessel has headlined four major tours across the world — including the Futtura World Tour that is running from 2025 to 2027. She has collaborated with several other successful artists, such as Steve Aoki, Becky G and Anitta.
She started dating De Paul in 2022

De Paul confirmed his relationship with Stoessel by sharing a selfie of them kissing on Instagram in August 2022. He captioned the picture, originally in Spanish, “Thank you for these days.”
At the time, De Paul had recently broken up with Argentine model Camila Homs after 12 years of dating. The former couple, who announced their separation in 2022, continue to co-parent their two children: daughter Francesca and son Bautista.
A year after they confirmed their relationship, Stoessel announced that they had broken up.
“I want to let you know that Rodrigo and I have decided to end our relationship,” she wrote on social media in August 2023, according to La Vanguardia. “We shared some wonderful moments, where I had the opportunity to get to know someone I love and respect very much. We supported each other through very important moments in our lives. Thank you so much for your love and respect.”
In April 2025, the two were photographed attending a tennis match in Madrid and sparked reconciliation rumors and confirmed they were back together later that year.
They have supported each other’s career

Although both De Paul and Stoessel have intense careers, they have prioritized supporting each other.
Right before De Paul and the Argentine national team won the FIFA World Cup in 2022, he thanked Stoessel for supporting him regardless of his career ups and downs in a December Instagram post.
“When many others gave up or kept repeating nonsense, you took my hand and told me I wasn’t alone,” he wrote in part. “When this crazy adventure began, I told you I wouldn’t let you down, that I would stay until the very last day, and here we are, keeping my word… I’ll hug you soon, just wait a little longer… THANK YOU. I love you.”
Meanwhile, after Stoessel sold-out her concert at the Campo Argentino de Polo in Buenos Aires, De Paul posted a picture with her on his shoulders and congratulated her.
“It makes me so proud to see you shine; thank you for letting me be a part of it,” he wrote in December 2022. “You are number one—but above all, because of the love you put into what you do. You deserve all this and more; keep shining—there’s no limit to what you can achieve. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART.”
Stoessel has also shown her support by attending several of De Paul’s matches and tournaments — including at the 2026 World Cup.

The Inter Miami midfielder shared the news by posting a close-up photo of her marquise-cut diamond ring on his Instagram Stories, as reported by Hola!.
“My life partner, the angel who came to save me. You are the best team. I love you,” he wrote.
