‘Warm Me Up’ is set for release on Oct. 30

David Archuleta is ready to kick-start the holiday season.
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the “Crush” singer announced a new holiday album, Warm Me Up, and a North American holiday tour.
“Warm Me Up was a project that I wanted to have fun with,” Archuleta, 35, said in a press release, adding that he was hoping to “find my own way of connecting to the holiday in this new chapter of life.”
In the release, the singer-songwriter said that he wrote side B last year and he didn’t promote it because he hoped to complete it this year. He also opened up about pulling inspiration from New Edition, Gap Band and Freddie Mercury for songs on the album.
“In the end it all seemed to come together with a couple of Christmas classics, ‘Let it Snow’ and ‘Grown-Up Christmas List’ that I felt was a bridge from my previous two Christmas albums to Warm Me Up. It’s a nod to the ballads I feel I have become known for in my career. I wanted to make people feel but also move, dance and celebrate in a way I grew up doing and still have a love for today.”
On Instagram, Archuleta wrote that the album has “so much heart in it.”
“A little nostalgia, a lot of warmth, and some new songs I’ve been really excited for you to hear,” the “A Little Too Not Over You” singer said.
Warm Me Up, which features 12 tracks, is set for release on Oct. 30. He’s also set to perform the songs on the road during his Warm Me Up North American Tour, which is set to kick off on Nov. 28.

Before Warm Me Up, Archuleta released Christmas from the Heart in 2009, Winter in the Air in 2018 and My Only Wish in November 2025.
Earlier this year, the singer-songwriter released a memoir called Devout, where he opened up about how leaving Mormonism, confronting childhood abuse and coming to terms with his sexuality changed his life.
“I always believed something was wrong with me. Then I realized I don’t have to let other people accept me; I can do that myself. I can accept myself,” Archuleta told PEOPLE. “I’m just grateful to be alive and to see what I can do with my life while I’m here. It really feels like starting again.”
