Conor’s wife, Brooke Hanlon, died on June 6, after being stabbed to death at their home in Chester, a suburb approximately 40 miles west of New York City.
A 911 call was placed at 4:30 p.m. that day from her home, with dispatch audio obtained by PEOPLE revealing that Brooke was in cardiac arrest and had suffered a large laceration to her chest.
The MCPO, Chester Township Police Department and investigators with the Morris County Sheriff’s Office CSI unit continue to investigate the case. No arrests have been made, and officials are seeking help from the public while offering a $1,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest.
Brooke was a licensed psychotherapist and a new mother, having welcomed her first child with Conor in July 2025.
The couple purchased their house in 2025, according to property records, which also show that the home is located just a few miles from Brooke’s childhood home in the town where she grew up before attending college at Wake Forest University.
Brooke then went on to get a master’s degree in clinical psychology at Northeastern University in Boston, which is where she met Conor.

The couple spent close to a decade in Massachusetts after Brooke completed her studies before deciding to move to New Jersey and start a family, a relative told PEOPLE.
It has now been five weeks since Brooke’s death, and no suspects or persons of interest have been publicly identified in the case.
Police and prosecutors have also declined to comment or share any new information on Brooke’s death or the investigation at this time.
The two agencies also declined to confirm the victim’s name for three weeks after she was killed in her home for reasons that remain unclear.
The Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office did release a statement saying that an autopsy “determined the cause of death to be multiple sharp force injuries and the manner of death as homicide.”
